GNVQ intermediate ICT

how many do the colleges near you count them as? technically a distinction is A* A* A A, but my local college counts it as 2 A's i think. Hmph. Apparantly it differs between colleges. Are you getting a raw deal from your desired college for this course?

Does anyone know how cambridge would rate it, as they have a point system where an A* = 1 and an A = 0.6 i think.
would it be 3.2?

HOw did everyone find this course, and what where your overall scores out of 500 (i think 500, for the 5 units covered, or where there 4units covered?)

Also, how do you personally count it when saying how many gcse's you sre doing? i like to say 9 + gnvq, so i 'take' 13 GCSEs, which i guess is sorta a white lie...

My local college is only accepting them as the full 4 Gcse's if your applying for an IT Course, Otherwise theyre only accepting them as 1 if your opt for a non-it course
My school counts it for 4 - I think it is normally counted for 4 gcses anyway. I feel that GNVQ ICT takes tooooo much time lol and since I am (now it's 'was') crap at IT, i chose it for my gcses. It nearly dominated my whole social life. On the whole, GNVQ IT just gives me bad memories because firstly my teacher was really, really rubbish and I struggled soo much. But at the end i acquired a distinction which I am extremely pleased.

Would unis appreciate a GNVQ IT qualification seeing as it worths 4 gcses and it is more advanced than just gcse IT?

I need a intermediate GNVQ to get into the college course i want but I don't know if I've already done it or what I would have to do to get it. I have an interview in a couple of days where they'll give me the test for it, please someone explain it to me?
