New to the forum! I'll be doing Of mice and men and An inspector calls. Does anyone have any last min revision tips? English is naturally one of my stronger subjects, however I feel uncomfortable not revising for it haha.

Learn some key quotes and be able to link them to the writer's purpose and what the writer wants the reader to think by making that character say that specific thing. Also talk about different interpretations and that will get you higher marks. I don't know if you already know that but I've just heard that from teachers and students (I'm quite bad at English).

Awesome! Good idea about the alternate interpretations, I completely forgot our teacher told us to do that! Thanks

Make sure you use context in Section B - if you don't it could drop you down a band. Try to make a lot of detail about a small amount of evidence by thinking about the connotations and effects of individual words. Always reference the technique or part of speech to improve the sophistication of your essay!
