{shrugs} I thought they were both one. I missed out something didn't I?
Shows how much of AH maths I've bothered to pay attention to doesn't it?

Yeah, you're not missing out on much. I've become fed up of maths recently (not a good thing since most of my first year at uni is maths :frown:)

Yeah I've got another year of maths to go.
But it's the summer now so I don't need to think of such things.

Eh, I think I'm going to start my reading now. The syllabus is quite big...but yeah, summer's a good distraction.

I may try and find some books, if my mum ever stops nagging me to tidy my room.

Oh, my mum's been nagging at me for months. I always told her I'd do it after my exams, so I'm slowly doing it now...it's best just to get it over and done with.

This thread is slowly being hijacked...

lol yeah it is... and yeah i think the answer was 6.. wait on just running it through my mind...

yeah it is... was all to do with the 2, 4, 8, 6 cycle... with 2 and 8 being odd powers andthen it was out of the 6 and 4... i explained it as even odds and even evens if that makes any sense? (2*1 would be even odd 2*2 would be even even) the interviewer seemed to understand my twisted logic anyways lol!

More on topic though... at no point was i ever asked "why oxford?" or "why st johns?"
