Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but it's worth a try.

I have just finished my undergraduate course at the University of Reading studying politics & IR. To my shock, I have been called back to Reading (from Exeter,) for an academic misconduct meeting.

On closer inspection, I have missed a footnote, for at most 3 sentences. It is not a case of me trying to steal someone's work, it is simply a case of missing a footnote or accidentally deleting it whilst proof reading. This was submitted within days of my grandfather dying, and it was just simply a case of forgetting to add in the footnote. I wasn't trying to steal anyone else's work.

Can anyone give me some advice for this? As understandably, after 3 years of hard work and £50,000 worth of debt, I am so worried about being failed for everything due to a silly little mistake.

Anyway, thank you for your time, hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind Regards,
What's the best type of cheese?
