Do you read the exam paper before starting?

I have a choice of 2 essay questions at the end of my biology exams and I always flick to the last page first to see what the essays are and choose which one I know the most about, but my friend told me she just waits until she gets to the essay page to look at them.

nah, i don't read them mostly. i read to pick the question, but i just skimread and go with my gut instinct as to what question to answer.

however, in history aea, i did actually read ALL the questions of all the parts before i started to read anything, because you can't use the same own knowledge in both parts. so i read ahead so i knew how to make the most of my own knowledge. :smile:
