If I got a 2:1 after first year and a 2:2 in second year. What are the chances of still getting a 2:1 in 3rd year?

How is it all added up in the end?

Depends on the course really. At UEA, most of the courses don't count the first year towards your final grade... It's a bit more specific than just a 2:2 as well... if you got 50% in second year, you'd need a relatively high 2:1 to get a 2:1 overall perhaps, but if you got 59% in second year, you'd need a relatively low 2:1 to get 2:1 overall...

For my courses (Business Finance and Economics), the marks are split 40:60 for 2nd:3rd year... If you find that out, and if you know the exact mark you got for second year, you'll be able to work out what you'll need for 3rd year!
