    Hi
I am a mum of 2 (age 8 and 10) i recieve child tax credits. I was thinking of starting up my own small buisness on ebay which should generate about £50 a week n will take about 20 hours of my time. I read onHMRC that this counts as self employed so i will keep a ledger and employ an accountant to do my tax return. But this also means i will then be entitled to working tax credits, which i noticed when filling out my CCG1 form (i think!) It asks about whether i am in receipt of working tax credits..

So my question is.. will my working self employed by income and or tax credits affect my student loans / grants?
    Thanks
    Lauren
