Hi, I love watching auction shows and antique shows and I've always wanted a hobby of collecting antiques and I want to start now.
Any ideas of what category I should go for? I don't want to go for paintings or cigarette boxes or vases or plates.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you

What category you go for seems irrelevant as people with more money than sense will pay for pretty much anything if you use enough buzzwords or can prove that it's old.

You, however, will also need money. Gotta spend it to make it, or so I'm told.

It's not particularly glamerous, but I have a liking for antique and vintage tools myself. They can be picked up very cheap, especially if they need a bit of cleaning up or repair, but that is the most enjoyable part to me.
