I've recently undergone the process of starting a course at university. Having traveled a lot recently I am adamant that I'll be opting for a geography course as it is something that interests me and I feel that I could do pretty well in.
I've tried to do some research but I'm still yet to commit to anything. But what I want to know is: Does anybody know any courses/universities that have some kind of study abroad / exchange scheme happening within a three year course?
I'm aware that there are separate courses that are Geography with a year abroad with is four years, but at the same time I'm aware of people that in their three year course they've spent time away for a semester or so at a partner universities.
For example I've looked at Newcastle University and as well as compulsory field trips, they give you the further option of a 5-month exchange at one of their partner institutions worldwide (Europe, US, Australia amongst others). That is the exact kind of thing that I'm into but obviously I'd like to see the options of other universities offering similar schemes before committing to just the one.
Can anybody shed some light on what I'm searching for? Whether it's from personal experience or somebody that you know etc.
