Does any grades you get in the year 10 mocks count towards anything?

For GCSE's, no. But your future college you apply to MAY be able to ask for them. Also it's a jumping start for teachers to decide how good you are.

It did for some people at my school. If people didn't do too well in their year 11 mocks, the teachers would send off their predicted grades based on the mock exams done in year 10 to their chosen colleges.
They don't really matter at all tbh unless some teachers are thinking of putting you into foundation but I would say to revise for them just to get a taste of exam season.
