I have been offered a job as a Virgin Media Business graduate (start date September 12th). I just needed some advice!
This is my first graduate job so I am new to the process of accepting a job offer.
I was offered the job over the phone and then a contract was sent through. There was no instruction to sign it so I simply e-mailed back and called them to accept the job offer and contract!
Now, I haven't been asked to show a degree certificate, A-level certificates, provide references or anything. All I have provided thus far is my passport. They said in the e-mail a pre-employment screening process would take place - however when I rang them after accepting the job offer they said it was all complete (perhaps they misinterpreted what I meant).
So, when is this done? What will need to be provided?
I want to go travelling and need to know when this is likely to happen/what will be required so I can gather it all before I go!
