I recently broke up with my bf after about an 18 month relationship. There's a 4 year age gap between us as he's 20 and im 16. We broke up due exams putying a strain on our long distance relationship. Usually I would not break up with someone over this kind of reason but I wasn't sure if he was still into me. Prior to the break up he was barely texting me and seemed to have other things he'd rather do.This is why I allowed us to break up. However now he's back to normal and idk whether I should talk to him about getting back together as I still have strong feelings for him or just let him go and move on...

Personally, I think the same thing would just happen again. Your age gap it too big and you are at different points in your life. Like still talk to him if you want to be friends, but if you feel that could lead to you going back out with him, then don't talk to him about it.
