Hi

I have already done a year at university and it was funded by the nhs. I am wanting to study at open university now, I originally I wanted to finish in 3 years and student finance said they would fund that. However I do work full time and I'm not sure if finishing in 3 years is possible. Would student finance pay for 4 years if I'm wanting a little more time?

Thanks

Yes they would as although it was an nhs year, they would count that as a normal year used. So you wont be able to resit any modules if you needed to. Have you asked OU for a credit transfer, it could save you the tuition fees and you might be able to skip a level 1 module or two?

To get finance for a part time course, you must be doing at least 30 credits.
