The girl's occupation doesn't affect whether I'd date her :/

I genuinely wouldn't care. Both decent jobs - if there's attraction there's attraction.
Job roles have nothing to do with it (bar some exceptions.. if she's a sex worker there's no chance. )

Profession wouldnt be much of a factor if at all. Looks, personality and intelligence would rank way higher.

Most guys would want a Teacher, if she is a high earning solicitor I think they would feel intimidated.

Anyway, teacher, because then we'd have something in common. Well, I'm an aspiring teacher anyway.

A teacher because it's more wholesome, they have great holidays where they can make me fab meals and tidy the house. Also with the solicitor if you married and then divorced she, or one of her mates, would absolutely take you to the cleaners..

As long as they give me enough time by myself during the day, the profession is irrelevant.

Not really. Depends what the guy does as well. As someone with high earning potential I'd prefer someone else who also earns good money (although it's not a decisive factor like this thread makes it out to be).
