My boyfriend was asking me the other day 'do you want to break up'? I said 'no'. He was asking me later on if I wanted this relationship to be an open relationship. He is like basically asking me to either break up with him or to be in an open relationship with him. I don't know what I should do in this situation.

Well, if you don't press for his reasons for breaking up or just reverting to friendship, you'll forever feel confused and upset. Also decide for yourself if the relationship is worth continuing.

Break up with him. He does not respect you. You will find someone better. The guy is just looking for you know what. Seriously this generation is mad.
