Can you still get a A* in your GCSE if you only got a A in the exam? Watch

1) How are you aware of your grade, the paper in question was sat a mere 2 hours ago?
2) You still haven't completed Human Geography
3) Literally no one will care if you got an A as opposed to an A*

Depends how many papers you've done or if you've done coursework (I don't know which board you're on so can't offer a completely accurate answer) - standardised grades are generally calculated by UMS (don't know if this applies to all exam boards though) so if you get a certain UMS score overall you can get an A* even with an A in one of the sections - it's a combined mark. For example, in my French mock, I got an A overall despite my listening paper coming out as a D because my other marks were high enough to pull it up.
