Do the grade boundaries plunge to ridiculous levels? 20% for full UMS? I'm curious with what happens when exam boards get overzealous with their exams.

Some candidates have to get an A; a set percentage of entries are awarded an A grade each year. If the paper is extremely difficult and many candidates don't do very well, the A boundary will be lowered to such an extent in that the top 15% or so will achieve the A grade
