Unfortunately this week i have been feeling quite ill with a mild chest infection. I did 2 GCSE exams yesterday (already done 6) which were English Lit and R.E. I felt quite ill but did them still. Anyway, today I felt horrendous and have actually been diagnosed with pneumonia which is just my luck!! so was told I am unfit to sit my Geography exam and can't do physics tomorrow either, possibly not Maths or English Lit part two... My teaher has spoken to AQA who say they are treating it as a "special case" whatever that means. Does anyone know how they will grade me? Do I get my target grade, mock grade, how does it work? It is so unlucky as I would've got an A/A* in Geography today and obviously not going to now as my coursework is low. Also think it affected my perfomance yesterday too...
Too ill to take exams....How do i get graded? Watch

If you have done the first English lit exam, they take your first mark and an average of everyone who got the same mark as you on the first paper for the second paper, giving you two marks. Just hope that everyone else does well on the second paper to give you a good second mark! I think they then use your mock results for papers you don't sit in subjects where you haven't done any papers yet. I hope you feel better soon!
