Last week on Tuesday 17th May i sat the Sociology AS New Specification paper (Education and Research methods) and i ran out of space on the question paper so i requested for some extra space and the invigilator provided with me with the AQA 'extra space booklet', i filled my details, candidate number and centre number, however, I did not fill out the paper reference number. Will this affect my marks?

I also made sure that the 'extra space booklet' was slotted inside the question paper and handed to the invigilator at the end. I have spoken to the exams officer at my sixth form and she says that it should be fine, however, i'm not fully convinced.

Sorry you've not had any responses about this. Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

You can also find the Exam Thread list for A-levels here and GCSE here. :dumbells:

Hi! Listen I would not worry too much, as the new spec isn't really official to your grade. however, the invigilator would have put a hole punch through the paper, so as long as your candidate number and centre number is on there you will be fine.
