This is hardly news. The French riot and protest any significant change that is to their long-term benefit.

As said already, to us burning and riots are a bit of a shocker for the middle-class over their tea during the evening news, in France it's just a another Tuesday.

Be it ethnic minorities feeling disenfranchised, or labour strikes, somewhere a French car is burning because of political anger.

If it was a non-European country, all European news agencies would make live broadcasts from there for weeks and make stories that what a faschist country it is.

Why are you such interested to cause mischief on the Earth ?

You should understand how the media works. They cannot blow this news because it will portray the French in a bad light.

I'd say that they protest against any minor change regarding labour laws or the welfare state. A misplaced comma can trigger a revolution.

It's a real shame. What are your predictions for the upcoming elections in France?
