Hello everyone! My name is Maria, I'm currently living in France and I'm in 9th grade. I applied for an International Anglo-American Section in High school and I'm waiting for the results. I applied there because I would love to study in the UK and this section is an opportunity for me. As I'm a new member, I don't know where I should post my question so I hope someone will be able to answer it here.

I'd like to become a doctor and especially a gynecologist or a pediatrician but I don't know how many years of study I must complete before becoming a pediatrician or a gynecologist... And secondly, I don't know exactly what is an "A-level", can someone explain me or give me an equivalent to this exam?
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
