An offer for people coming to Leeds in September

Because I'm terribly bored with not much to do in the summer I have just had a thought of something which might be useful for people coming to Leeds in September. I live in Leeds (but am going to university in London). If anyone is interested in getting to know Leeds a bit before coming in September I would be happy to offer a totally free guided tour! It's a pretty big city which can be bewildering at first but after a good look around it should become more familiar. I'm pretty flexible as far as the date goes (although am on holiday for a couple of weeks in August). If you are interested just send me a PM!
That would be quite a good idea for people that dont live in yorkshire (providing people aren't wary of you been a deranged serial killer, stranger things happen on the net!), i live near leeds and i still get lost, always end up next to the statue of the guy on a horse no matter which way i walk!

Is Leeds as big as Manchester? Or is it bigger?
If it is like Manchetser, I don't think I should have too much of a problem - I'm good at finding my way around.

Leeds is pretty easy to find you're way around, the student dominated parts anyway, most of what you need is based on one main road that goes from Headingley down straight past the uni and into the centre, and the centres just like anywhere else so its pretty easy to get you're bearings....and plus everythings different depending on where you live....try the Otley Run tho it might help you work out where you are!!!

I honestly don't think Otley Running is going to help, you'll be too drunk to remember where anything is! WOrd of advise, if you do consider this approach, write your address on your hand before you go out then just show it to the taxi driver, it'll make life a whole lot easier!
