Interview question- look after customer or clean a spill? watch

    I had an interview for sainsbury today and question asked

    while you are talking to a customer you notice a potential slip hazard (a spill). I said to apologise to the customer and deal with the spill and get a colleague to help them.

    Was that the right response?
