    Hey guys,

After dropping out of uni 4-5 years ago and working for several years I've decided that I'd like to return to higher education. During my years of working I was introduced to photoshop and really enjoyed working with the software albeit for very basic tasks.

I've decided that I want to pursue graphic design and as I know I'm a novice I looked for a foundation degree and luckily found one in my hometown.

A portfolio is required however I dont have any work of my own, please can anyone shed some light on what universities look for in a portfolio for a foundation degree in graphic design.

Also any additional tips on how to further my skill set in graphic design would be amazing!
