Getting a girlfriend in 2nd year

I will be in my 2nd year at university in September. What is the best societies to join so that I can get a girlfriend.

Any that interest you.
Don't join societies that don't interest you, just to get girls. Then you'll have no common ground and they'll probably be on the defensive knowing you're only after them.

LGBT Society

To be brutally honest, I think you will struggle if you come across as desperate to get a girlfriend and join a society solely for the purposes of getting a girlfriend - sadly, that is not how life works.

Do whatever you want that helps you to meet new people, be careful about how you go about these things and who knows, something might happen.

Girls will easily be able to see through you solely jointing a society just to find a girlfriend , just join societies that you want to participate in anyway and meet like minded people, the you'll probably meet a girl you like and be able to ask her out
