# Trigonometry, quick question watch

1. I was under the impression that the maximum and minimum values for sin are +-1, but for part c) they got the answer as minimum being zero???

The r form is sqrt 34(sin2x + 1.03)

What have I missed here?

2. Consider the whole expression. and consider values for x between -1 and 1.

The variable factor needs to be a value such that the entire expression is a minimum, notice that if then the would be squared, returning a positive value for the entire expression.
