Often in threads critical of Islam, you will get the response, why always Islam, what about say Christianity.

So my question is that, too, why? Why do people think that Islam gets criticized so much but Jediism or the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster do not? I mean they are clearly ridiculous. So why?

Islam is the flavour of the year, decade, century, etc... It'll die out and we'll find another backward ideology to criticise.

It hardly needs to be explained now, does it?

Church of the flying spaghetti monster doesn't have much that can be levelled at it as it's designed to be a parody (although technically speaking their religion is actually plausible providing this pasta ******* exists outside of reality).

Jediism is none-theistic and just follows the basic principles that jedi stood for so idk what exactly to criticise, unless you have a problem with Obi-Wan's morals...
