For the third to last question - I got -3x-4 as (3-x)(-3x-4) expands to make the expression on the bottom of the fraction, and the (3-x) cancels out, leaving -3x-4.


I got that too but apparently it's 1/-3x-4 because when you cancel out the top it doesn't become 0, it becomes one (since anything divided by itself is 1)

I divided the price by the number of crisps, and then rounded each number to 2.d.p
I got £42.27, or something really close to that, because he needs £17.50 for parking for 5 days and I think he uses £24.77 worth of petrol in total and you add those two together to get the final cost.
i got £42 something for car one

I have just realised I forgot the parking and so would have been a lot more than I probably calculated.

how many marks was it??? i accidentally calculated for 7 days? would probs only lose one beacuse of method marks

I got £42.28, did people with £52 accidentally work it out for 7 days instead of 5? he works a 5 day week
