For those of you working (or who have previously worked) alongside their MA, may I ask what kind of job you did?

I worked part-time alongside my undergraduate degree and coped just fine but my MA hours are much more spread out and I am struggling to find an employer accommodating enough for the flexibility I will need. So, I would be interested to get some ideas of what kind of work I could look for that allows a certain level of flexibility.

For reference, I worked in an office between the hours of 9-5 with my undergrad degree.

My friend studied a Distance Learning Masters course which is basically online based, whilst working full time in the company he was working for.

Not me personally, but those I know who worked whilst studying for an MA did typical studenty jobs in restaurants, bars or shops, where they have more 'out of hours' work available.
