45 mins on each question. To get an A*, be really perceptive in analysing the form, structure and language, miss any of those and you won't be getting high marks

I'm doing section B which poem do you think is coming up? Also how much time is recommended to spend on each question

For an A* or top marks in the unseen section, do you need to create an A* idea/impression of the poem that is sustained such as " the eagle is presented as "god-like" with powers that are....

Explain everything in detail, analyse every part of a quotation you use. To get an A* think of something no one else will think of, it says in the mark scheme that you need perceptive interpretations of language, form and structure.
Also, don't just list techniques, explain why they are used by the poet, do they evoke any of their own feelings. NO PASSING REFERENCES!
