How was the Edexcel GCSE Maths exam today? watch

1. After looking at the unofficial mark scheme someone posted I feel really good.
I made some really silly mistakes but overall it was much better than last years
When I counted my marks in the exam I came up to about 88 (harshly) but I'm gonna say 78 out of 100 just to be on the safe side (and to motivate me for paper 2 - gonna try aim for 90/100)

Btw, do you think paper 2 will be harder?
Anyone got predictions for the grade boundaries?
Hope you all did well and good luck for paper 2
2. I felt ishy after the exam.

After looking at the unofficial mark scheme I felt more confident and was harsh and gave myself 82 marks. I made a stupid mistake with the probability one... for some reason I put 80/100 * 5/100 = 400/1000.............. meh

I just hope paper 2 is doable for me.

A lot of people found it difficult so maybe the grade boundaries will be low 80s.

I really hope paper 2 isn't mean because I'm counting on it to boost my grade If you were being harsh then you probably got higher than that, well done

Yeah, I'm relying on paper 2 to secure my grade but hopefully we'll do well! Good luck!
5. Paper one did not have all the hard questions such as stim equations, it did not even have a cumulative freq diagram, so I really think the calculator is going to be hard man
