    THE EU IS LITERALLY HITLER
    http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-...endum-36295208

Boris Johnson compared the EU to Nazi Germany. To politicise WW2, and compare a peaceful cooperation of countries to a regime that systematically exterminated millions of people, and killed tens of millions trying to conquer the continent, is absolutely sickening. How the leave voters are so lacking in self-awareness that they accuse the other side of scaremongering, I really don't understand...

"LEAVING THE EU WILL HURT POOR PEOPLE THE MOST" - Iain Duncan Smith
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ng-crisis.html

This man is literally the devil to the poor of the UK. He took away their benefits, forced people unfit to work into work, left the poorest to die and drove suicide rates through the roof. The poor people of this country are terrified of him, and rightly so.

Now, the man who forced the poor and ill and disabled to suicide, is telling us we need to protect the poor. He's using his image as a monster to scare the most vulnerable people in the country into a Brexit. He's a vile man.

It's important you get the reference right. He was indeed comparing the EU to Nazi Germany but not in terms of the extermination of Jews but to the unification of European nations.

    (Original post by BBC)
The pro-Brexit Tory MP said both the Nazi leader and Napoleon had failed at unification and the EU was "an attempt to do this by different methods".

You're not countering his statement; simply stating that he's a hypocrite.

Funny considering David Cameron, whose so desperate to stay in the EU, said that leaving would cause WW3.

Same could be said for the remain side. David Cameron has been spouting out a lot of rubbish these past few months too.

honestly, on the route we're currently on it doesn't make a shred of difference - we're in decline either way

Both the campaigns are annoying me, they are distracting us from the actual thing which is choosing whether or not to remain in the EU, but all I see on TV is a pissing contest between some very right-wing tories and the establishment politicians. I'll be voting to remain indeed, but this has been warped into a Donald Trump style race for popularity.

There are plenty of valid viewpoints based upon plenty of valid reasons. However the OP has not presented anything to back up their ridiculous thread title.

Also, he doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'literally'.
