I was wondering can you just re-do A levels? By that I mean can I apply to a college now and just do 4 A levels even though I'm 17 because the subjects I chose this year won't help me in my future goals as I have changed my mind about what I want to do, also I didn't take this year as seriously as I should have. So can I just redo even though I am 17? Has anyone done this and was it okay?

If you think its the right decision for you then go for it. I retook year 12 because I flopped my AS levels at my 1st attempt because I didn't work hard enough. I am now doing my A2's and I have got all my university offers. As long as you don't apply for competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry etc. you should be fine. Just bear in mind that if you do retake the year you will be in a class with people younger than you, which can be annoying sometimes because they are slightly immature in the beginning. However, as time goes by things will go smoothly. Good luck!
