Hello! My name is Arly Mèmè. I am 17 years old and I'm from Paris, France but I lived the majority of my life in the Turks and Caicos Islands (aka country with crystal clear seas and white sandy beaches...). Currently surviving the last month of high school; I swear, this last month is much more ridiculous than my 5 years of high school combined. ....Anyway.
I joined TSR because in July/August I will be moving to the UK to start my A Levels and will most likely continue to live here and since in the TCI our 'way of life' is sort of similar to the UK (taking away the moist climate and other factors...) I believe it will be a smooth transition for me.
I wouldn't say I'm an open book, it's just that I get a tad bit anxious when I'm around new people... ALSO, I could be in the cheerful of moods, and people would think I'm upset, really. It's not that I don't smile, I do -- but it takes a whole lot of energy so I kind of have to keep a 'Kanye-ish' look throughout the day to most people. I won't bite though 😂.
Um... Yeah I guess that's it... Other than that, I'm a regular (more or less, weird) guy.

Just wanted to say thanks for joining The Student Room: welcome on board!
How's it going so far? Found what you need? Below I've listed a few things you might fancy trying on TSR. If you've got any questions, add them to the TSR news, help and feedback forum.
Put your work head on:
No matter what level or subject you're studying, you'll find someone on TSR who can help. Find your subject in the Study Help forum and ask a question or visit our brilliant revision section for help and advice. And if you're planning on going to university, you have to visit our uni applications forum. It's full of people who can help you through the whole process.
Take it easy:
You know there's more to TSR than studying, right? In Hobbies and Interests you'll find people talking about everything from the latest football scores through to what mobile phone to buy next. Or how about the Debate and Current Affairs forum? Latest news, politics, education...it's all fair game in here.
That's just a taster, of course. To find even more conversation, head to the Forums page and find a place to start up your own discussion.
Enjoy the site!
