I hate my "flat mates"

So i had to move flats at the start of the year around November time due to the residential advisors enforcing a move, as this was seen as the best option. So I moved across the floor to the other flat, as this was the easier option (as I couldn't be bothered to move all my stuff).

Two of the current flat "mates" are so nice . But the other two are so fake and one always has boyfriend and anger breakdowns. Weird things have been happening in the flat like: pans in the bin (the Chinese girl who they say is antisocial), Hoover wires snipped, someone wrote "fuk" on the wall, rubbish everywhere on the floor, she flooded my room and when I did it back she made such a big deal. Cherries everywhere once on the kitchen, post missing and them two writing rude notices on the whatsapp group and on the kitchen fridge about them doing all the cleaning. When the kitchen is like her second bedroom.

I feel so down, all year long I've had flat "mate" issues and it has affected my uni work sometimes. Because I feel so down and depressed I don't feel like concentrating. I just can't wait to move out on the 7th June.😭 Everything they try blaming on me, like the smoke alarm went off and they said it was me, when her boyfriend openly smokes. I hate the pair of them and all the old flat girls that did not like me.

I also feel so depressed because I was silly and left it too late to book accomodation in private halls with my good friend as all the rooms were sold out. Also at that time my phone was smashed so we couldn't book it together for second year.😭😭😩😩😩 I really don't like to live in a house, so the only option was into move back into uni halls😩 Even though I have bad memories here and really didn't want to. I am lucky for my uni, first year does not count but second year I cannot afford to deal with flat "mate" problems.

What's your point? You should have taken pictures of the infringements and then made a complaint.
The not being able to book a place because your phone was broke doesnt hold water. You could have used a compiter, you could have borrowed your friends phone or you could have just gone in person.

perhaps make more of an effort to get friends outside your own flatmates and then it will be better for you.

I never really thought about accomodation until late. 🙈🙈 it just upsets me because she was shouting filth at me exploding, telling everyone I'm in the wrong 😞

Yes I have many friends outside my flat, but whenever I'm in the flat it's just so depressing

You just record them whilst they are doing it. Bullies only try it om because they can get away with it.

I think you should start documenting all this evidence including dates, times, pictures etc and show it to your landlord

I'm like 19 and I don't have to retaliate with a few *****es acting like they are kids. Recording will do noting to be honest, there defence argument is " oh you got kicked out that flat and everything 'shady' is happening because of you"... The other two are so nice, it's these two 😞😞🙈

They're are blaming it on me and like on 10 days I will have moved out of this ensuite room, so they tell me they didn't like me all year long and it's pointless of them start an argument now. All she can say is you're a "weirdo, retard """ etc. Then they say oh it's been happening all year- when they couldn't speak to me. She also has problems with me like she says "oh whenever I make conversation with you, you never pay attention". Because she *****es about everything with the other flat "mate" which are like best friends now. Even if I say hi" she would ***** about that 😞🙈

I have no idea why you were kicked out of the other place, but their behaviour is unnaceptable. Recordings and photos are evidence. You simplay make a complaint and give them the ebidence. there are levels of behaviour that flatmates have to compliy with as part of their tenancy/ licence agreement with whoever you are renting from.

What they were doing was bullying and if they damaged any of your private property is potentially illegal. At least mention some of this to your landlord because chances are if they did it to you they will do it to someone else and I doubt your landlord wants his tenants feeling threatened or uncomfortable

Well they threw the Chinese girl's pan in the bin and always make fun of her saying she's so antisocial and only socialises with Chinese people. Then they made drama out of that when it happened in January, one was putting it on her snapchat and the other couldn't stop laughing. One of them to be honest is like a bulldog ready for an argument.😭

Which is why you needed to record and then give the ebidence to those in charge. They would have veen warned to halt their behaviour and if not they would have been kicked out. That's how it works.

With the two nice ones I suggest you book a meal out together and you can all have a good ***** about the other two. they sound like bullies.

Feel a bit sorry for the Chinese gril, just imagine what she thinks of the UK.

OP I had another though. Its perfectly possible that the private student hall your friend has booked into has a waiting list and may have cancellations. Ask them about the likelihood. You cna probably get out of the other contract as there will be a big demand for uni halls from freshers. Anyway dont give up theres always a chance.
Dont be put off by these 2, you were just unlucky. I understand if you cnat stand up to them , but a triple complaint from all three of you would not be ignored.

You should leave a cherry on the stairs, I hear it makes for great stories.
