I looked into it and it says 27th of May for new students and 24th of June for returning students. I'm on a course with a foundation year and I just finished the foundation year; would the 'first year' count me as a new student, or would it be the first year in name only, and actually count as the second out of four years rather than the first of the main three years? I can't see any real reason why it wouldn't count me as a returning student but I want to be absolutely sure.

If you had finance in 2015/16 then you're a continuing student.
