    Hi

    Need some advice.

So I'm a first year uni student approaching their exams. Complete loner with only some accquitajces no friends.

I feel like every guy just ignores me like I'm invisible.

It's like the more popular you are the more guy friends you have. The more likely guys to come and just chat to you.

I know I'm unpopular but surely that can't be the only reason for not being approached.

I don't think I'm ugly ..I won't post a picture but I kind of look like Audrey tatou.

I'm not like blonde haired blue eyed. .much the opposite

It's making me super depressed how shot this year has gone being a loner haven anxiety and basically now my exams are round the corner

    Am I a loser? ??

Your not a loser. I think being more comfortable and sociable around your uni can help. Guys like confidence. Also you don't have to wait to be approached; go up to someone and just be friendly. Be patient, you'll find someone when the time is right.

You're certainly not a loser! Have you tried joining any societies/clubs etc to meet people. My Uni experience was similar tbh, probably should have just got out my comfort zone & tried to socialise more at the start of my course. It's still possible to make some good friends though, so long as you're prepared to put yourself out there, don't give up hope!

You're not a loser. I felt the same mid year 13. Maybe try to be more sociable? I was told that but it wasn't as easy as it sounded, especially as I felt out of place in and around the school. As you're at the end of your first year, maybe you could join some clubs when you go back? Attend some more social events or look for activities you're interested in. That way, you'll be able to meet people who share the same interests as you.

I know it is hard to join a group of friends and may be intimidating so perhaps you should just try to talk to one person that seems friendly. Also people don't choose their friends by how aesthetically pleasing the are. Be positive and i'm sure people just need to get to know you and you will make many friends.
