They had put my exam on the wrong desk so I had to ask for my exam since I had no paper and as a result the exam was starting as I was writing my details on the front. I know in that rush I definitely did my name, candidate number and signed it but I can't recall writing my centre number. I was sat where my paper was taken first so I didn't even check the front afterwards either.
Obviously it is now half term and I've only just remembered this.
    Any suggestions?

Do the schools have to check the papers? What if mine doesn't?

I wouldn't worry too much. The school checks the covers of each paper before they are packaged to check no details are missing such as candidate number and such. If details such as centre number are missing then they will likely fill it in for you.

They are supposed to and if they miss your error, your name and candidate number is more than enough for the examiners to work out whose paper it is.
