I am going to be there for MSc in Management course...
I hope it will be a good course with good prospects. (Except J.S guy; people seem to give CASS a very good standing.)

What about you?

I was going to be going there this September to study Actuarial Science and had them down as my firm choice but after reading about it some more I checking out the website I just didn't feel as though I would enjoy myself there. By that I mean that it didn't feel to me like I feel as though university should feel to me. I will now hopefully be going to Kent instead.

Cass is definately highly regarded as a business school and has awesome links with industry, City isn't that well known on the whole but the business school is definately worth it, especially for post grad stuff.

same here - I was going to be joining the MSc in Management programme at Cass but then I decided on the U of Nottingham instead. I preferred the idea of being on a campus at a more reputed university and Nottingham is a lot cheaper. Another problem with Cass for me as an international student was that there are already wait lists for university accommodation! I hope I haven't made a wrong decision here though as Cass comes out much higher than Nottingham on most rankings (didn't it rank #2 for employability?) - and they gave me an achievable conditional!

Mate, don't worry about it, Nottingham is a really well respected University, alot more so than City (regardless of Cass Business School) so just hope and pray that you get the grades to go. Nottingham is quite a cool city aswell (even if there is a bit of a crime problem in certain areas of the city), overall though you will have a wicked time, get a degree from a well respected university and come out of uni with less debt than if you were at City.

Hi,

I have an admit in the above course at Cass Business School but i still haven't made up mind about joining. Does anyone have any thoughts on the reputation and employability of the specialist programs at Cass. As i undrestand, the brand name of City is nothing great but they have good links within the industry. Can anyone tell me a few formal sources to reconfirm this view?

Cheers,
Nixster

Cass (and the Law dept) have fantastic employment rates! Who do you think arranges professional training for a lot of MC companies ?

Not as good as say Said (for obvious reasons) but still highly regarded in the workplace.

Not as hot if you want to stay in accademia though.
