There is nothing you can do about your height, you will either stop growing now or not. Learn to live with it.

Calm down
I've never noticed any connection between height and 'fitting in'. 5'7" is well within the realms of the normal, and I can think of a lot of guys I know who are shorter than that. Also, men usually get taller later than women, so there's a good possibility you've still got growing to do if you've not had a growth spurt already.
Wikipedia tells me that the average height for a man in the UK is 5'9", and for a woman, 5'4". So, you are still taller than most women, which is, perhaps, what counts... And closer to normality than I am, at 6'0" (a deviation from the norm of 8 inches :s-smilie: makes buying trousers an absolute nightmare).

thanks alot ^^^ yer i can image...when are that tall it is a trouble...so works both ways, tall and short...

well i have had a small spurt...but do u have many or just 1?

i jsut want to be about normal really...and not feel insecure around people and taller women...

i expect you (^^^^) have trouble finding men talleer than you all the time
5'7 is fine! you'll prob get taller as well because guys have most guys i know have had a growth spurt first at like 12-13 and then another at 17-18.

my boyfriends 5'7 and he's the perfect height : )

 I totally agree with this
And the height? dont worry about it.
My insecurities are from ****ty past relationships, mean people and me thinking too much.

Don't worry about it! I'm sure my last boyfriend was about 5'7". I'm 5'3", by the way. You might grow a bit more anyway. When i was 15 I was about 5'1", I'm 17 now. A couple of my friends have grown a little in the past year too.
Conversely, I have been the same height since I was thirteen.
I was in the same position as you, I am starting uni this September. I'm still short relative to my friends and it used to severely depress me. Now I actually don't mind it at all. You're not excessively short, you're just slightly below average. In fact probably average for your age. If you're anything like me then it will stop bothering you in the next two years, and you will realise that being a little shorter than average is no obstacle to most things.
The average male height is 5"10. I heard it after Eastenders on the intro of a BBC3 programme about short men.

kylie is apparently about 5"1 !!! doesn't look like it at all.Anastacia is also pretty short. 5"7 is fine!
my guy's 5ft 7 (or 8 he says, heh) he's sooo cute, and i love hugging him, he makes me feel all warm and cosy. my face reaches his heart (somewhere around there).

Don't worry about it, im sure there are plently of smaller girls, who would love the height you are.
If I could give you an inch or two I would. I am sure you will grow taller - you know...guys do not stop growing until they reach 21. So there is still hope.

mte i in the sme state as u but worse...im 16, 5'6 and yh disproprtional -- size 10 feet and big hands..i want to grow...i do weights..everyone tells me that iit stunts my growth but ive been alover the internet and they saythat weights do not stunt growth
Big hands??? That's hot. You've been dealt one hell of a card there. Don't worry about the height thing either, you've still got aaaages of growing time. Besides, 5'7" isn't too short anyway, I know a guy who's only 5'4"!
