integrate (ln x)^3 / x By recognising a function and its derivative, or by using a suitable substitution, integrate withrespect to x.
4. Think about the derivative of ln(x) and then see if you can think what substitution to use.

By parts (label it as I you should see your original integral if you do it by parts)

If it says how to do it in the question why would you use parts?....

Oh it's just the way I read the question the function would be the integral of v' and the derrivative would be u'. Could be wrong it's very simple by parts. What would you use for your substitute?

i used ln x and i got the right answer.

Fair enough I'm sure both ways are suitable.

if i were to try doing it by parts would i make ln x as v' or as u?

Ln(X) as U but make sure you label the integral I=
