As have done 6/14 exams i have come to the conclusion that I HATE EXAMS!. I panic and have a brain fart, and forget everything that i have revised. Is there any point in revising when you just panic and forget in all in an exam. so would going to college be a better option where you are assessed throughout the year. Or is it better to do less a-levels next year and focus on ones that i enjoy (and properly panic in those exams as well). i have done really well in course work as well.

I think that you can get over your fear of exams and you will be fine. You need to remember that it really isn't the end of the world. I think you still need to revise as otherwise you may begin to panic as you haven't prepared. When you go into the exam hall, pretend that they are mocks or perhaps you could ask to take your exams in a separate room. I know some people in my school who suffer exam anxiety and take their exams in a separate room and this might help you?

I agree, it's just a fear you just need to stay calm. You can't learn or remember anything when you panic!

Exams are being introduced into vocational subjects (BTECs) from September so you might end up having to take at least 1 exam anyway, better than 14 but I think exams are becoming unavoidable unfortunately!

My advice: do what you want to do. Do the course you want to do and one you'll enjoy whether it has exams or not.
