    Hi Guys

Ive just been offered a role as a trainee management accountant at my current job (national law firm). I work as a legal cashier which is very much transactional based; ledgers, invoices, bank payments, postings etc and I am sure my new role will be a massive step up

Does anyone in a similar position have any advice for me? I have been told there will be no expectations of me but its always good to try and make a good impression. I start the role in 3 months. Any reading up I should do to get a headstart? I am aware excel is a massive part of the job so ill get practicing on that!

    thanks again!
