Hi, I'm going to be staying with some relatives for around 3 months over summer and they don't have internet. However, I'm going to be working during this time and will need internet to access e-mails etc. Ideally I'd like to use internet for entertainment purposes too, like streaming videos and such. I've had a look at portable WiFi devices and most seem to be for phones, so have a very small amount of data, and the ones which you can use with your laptop need to be connected to an ethernet port, which I won't have access to. Can anyone suggest a device I could buy that would let me access the internet on my laptop? Thanks.

Get unlimited data plan on your phone which allows tethering or making a hotspot and use that

Thanks for the suggestions, how would I go about setting up a hotspot?

I have heard that unlimited tethering does not exist anymore, however Three Network gives you a few gigabytes to tether, and is relatively cheap at 20 quid a month for the SIM card. You create a hotspot via settings on your phone, both android and iphone have this capability, then you simply connect using your computer.
