    1. what is a break? - when the couple decide they need time apart either for personal reasons or they need to work out exactly what they want in the future, especially in terms of this relationship.

    2. How long should they last? - how long they feel it should last. It can be anywhere from a few days to a few months.

    3. Should you be able to talk to other boys/girls during the break? - depends on the cause of the break imo. You aren't fully broken up but you aren't fully together and it should be discussed before the break if it would be ok to see other people during it

    4. How often do they result in a complete break up, in your opinion? - most of the time

5.How much of a break should it be... any contact at all? - minimum contact I would say so you can have some time to yourself and not be hounded by the person you felt you needed a break from. Only contact if in an emergency or you feel like you are ready to end the break and either get back together or end the relationship completely

    6. What are your break up experiences? - not had a break in my relationship but I did fully break up with my current bf for a year when we were younger and that was due to us both being stupid and immature at that age and looking back it was silly to argue for the things we argued about but in the end, that year away from each other both matured and now we have been together for 7 years straight with no breaks or anything. Neither of us went with other people during the break up.
