I have an unconditional offer to study BSc Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University and also an offer at Salford Uni to study BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, however, I need some advice to choose between them.

They're different courses. Look at the modules and course structure to see what you'll be studying - you must have a preference. Look at the accommodation for both unis, as although they're in a similar area one might be cheaper or better. Look at what graduates went on to do to see if one has better career prospects.

They are completely different courses. I've only briefly read about the salford course, but that one will qualify you as a counsellor - though I'm unsure what areas you'd actually be able to work in.

The psychology course will put you on the first step towards qualifying as a psychologist or pursuing a research career.

    They are significantly different choices.
