Right so I have hair that's been highlighted for years, but recently my dark brown roots were coming through. I went to the hairdresser and she did this appalling job of filling in my roots. Basically just threw a few REALLY strong highlights to the roots as if it was gonna match up.
I go travelling on wednesday, so I really need to try and fix this quite quickly. Any ideas??
((Also, I went back to her to ask to have it fixed. She tried to tone down the highlights, failed, still charged me £30 and honestly I'm just 100% done with that place))

Any advice would be really appreciated, I'm awful with hair....

    Hey there,

One of the worst things is having a dodgy hairdresser!

Personally, I don't think it looks too awful, but some ideas to maybe blend it in; you could use a old toothbrush to brush through some bleach, this will add teeny tiny highlights to your roots and might make the stronger ones fade in more?

Or why not use this as an opportunity to try something different? after my hairdresser messed up my white blonde touch up I said F*ck it and bought a bright red home dye to cover it up! Maybe so dramatic isn't for you, but what about a light brown?

    Good luck
