I have been offered a place at Salford University to do Counselling & Psychotherapy and also a place at Manchester Metropolitan to do Psychology. Which do I choose? Salford has a third year of work placements and Manchester Met's last year involves research, so the job prospects of Salford seems tempting. I'm quite unsure as to which to choose?

If you know you definitely want to be a counsellor then it makes a lot more sense to go to Salford.. If you think there is a chance you might change your mind on that?

Thank you, but I am not sure if I would be a good counsellor. I would like to know about the prospect of a graduated psychology.

A lot better (BPS accredited ofc) than a counsellor degree
