In 2011 i graduated from Heriot Watt University, in Edinburgh with a MA (Hons), and i am now looking to go on a study for a masters in Newcastle.

I'm in English, and have lived in England all my life, apart from the 4 years i attended university in Scotland.

I'm worried i won't be eligible for the new post grad student loan, as i already technically have a masters, but it's a Scottish one, which I know are slightly different, and there was no option for me to graduate after 3 years with a bachelors degree.

Does anyone know? I can't take up my place on the course without the funding.

Edit: As far as i can tell, it's level 10 SCQF with is the equivlant of level 6 in England, so *hopefully* i'll be okay

Scottish and Oxbridge Masters aren't considered equivalent to a PG Masters and so you'd be eligible.
