Hi! Would someone give me an advice on which is the best and most useful discount card for freshers? I saw some national express cards and also combined cards for food and leisure discounts. I will be living in Newcastle, what is the best option? Tnx

Definitely an NUS extra card! It's like £12 pound a year but you get a ridiculously wide range of discounts. I personally like getting 40% Pizza Express Mondays and Tuesdays

On UniDays you can get a TasteCard for 3 months for free which gives you 2 for 1 or 50% off at restaurants which is amazing!! I agree, NUS is also amazing. They offer discounts on travel anyway so check them out first

If you are not driving then you should get either a railcard or a coach card. They tend to pay for themselves after a few journeys. They are often given away as freebies when you open a bank account. Ynidays is free, so you have to decide if you wnat to spend the £12 for the NUS card. Half price spotify is about the best offer imo.
